Obama Gets the Last Laugh At The White House

Obama kept the White House laughing last night as he roasted Donald Trump. The best line of the night was "Where are Biggie and Tupac?"

“Donald Trump is here tonight! Now I know that he’s taken some flack lately, but no one is as happy, no one is prouder to put this birth certificate matter to rest than ‘The Donald,’ and that’s because he can get back to focusing on the issues that matter, like, did we fake the moon landing? What really happened in Roswell? And where are Biggie and Tupac?"

The President has jokes huh? Haha sure does.

It's Easter Monday!

Easter Monday is the day after Easter Sunday. It is not a federal holiday in the United States of America. Some Easter traditions continue on the Easter Monday, such as the egg rolling race at the White House.

What do people do?

Egg rolling races are held in the United States. There is a big race held on the lawn of the White House in Washington DC on Easter Monday. Sometimes even the President takes part in the “White House Easter Egg Roll”, which was hosted by the First Lady in 2007. Eggs are rolled down a hill or slope and there is a variety of activities, as well as food and entertainment, for families.
The White House Easter egg collection involves a tradition that began in 1994 where each state sends a decorated egg to the White House for display. Artists from across the United States created decorated eggs that represent each state and the District of Columbia. Each year the artists vote amongst themselves to select the artist to create the following year's commemorative egg which is presented to the President and First Lady. The collection is coordinated by the American Egg Board.

Public life

Easter Monday is not a federal holiday. Most aspects of public life are not any different to any other Monday. Public transit systems usually run their regular Monday schedule in many parts of the United States.
Though not largely observed in the United States, the day remains informally observed in some areas such as the state of North Dakota, where there is no school on Easter Monday, and some cities. Easter Monday was a public holiday in North Carolina from 1935 to 1987. Traditionally Polish-influenced areas such as Chicago observe Dyngus Day as well.

Background

In Pagan times, many groups of people organized spring festivals. Many of these celebrated the re-birth of nature, the return the land to fertility and the birth of many young animals. These are the origins of the Easter eggs that we still hunt for and eat.
In Christian times, the spring began to be associated with the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The crucifixion is remembered on Good Friday and the Resurrection on Easter Sunday. The idea of the resurrection joined with the ideas of re-birth in Pagan beliefs.

Symbols

For people with strong Christian beliefs, the Cross, on which Jesus was crucified, and the Resurrection are important symbols of the period around Easter. Other symbols of Easter include real eggs or eggs manufactured from a range of materials, nests, lambs and rabbits or hares. Sometimes these symbols are combined, for example, in candy models of rabbits with nests full of eggs. Eggs, rabbits, hares and young animals are thought to represent the re-birth and return to fertility of nature in the spring.

Relationship Test!

If you are in a relationship with someone and you do not see a future should you break up with them? If so, how do you know when to break up? How long should you stay with them after you realize that there is no future? Do you just say "Uhhh look, I don't see you in my future...so you gots to go?" I'm just asking.

Questionaire:

1. Can you see yourself with them for the rest of your life? (through the wrinkles and all)

2. Are they wifey/husband material?

3. Can they be a great parent for your kids or a complete slacker?

4. Can you love them at their absolute worst? Can they love you at your worst?

5. Can you plan things together and actually agree?

6. Do they want to go to heaven? (If not break up...NOW)

7. Do you trust them?

8. What would you do?

Should A Woman Propose to A Man?

A lot of people think that since times are changing, it should be fine for a woman to propose to a man. I disagree, but right now I'm listening to a university's internet radio station and a lot of WOMEN actually believe that nothing is wrong with this. Some people think that a woman is desperate if she proposes to a man. I mean, I don't think that a woman should be the one to propose BUT I won't say that she is deperate. Sometimes love doesn't care who proposes :/.

Anyway I have mixed feelings about it -- (Oh, and NO WAY am I going to propose to any guy! :p)
If anyone care to share their views on this feel free! ^_^
She proposed to him and he said yes :)
Well, good for her.

It Didn't Happen If It's Not On Facebook ;-)

So, everyone believes that facebook is the source of reality. Really?
For example, if a girl or guy says that they're dating someone we automatically turn to their facebook pages to see how "true" the information is. And, if facebook doesn't say that they're dating or "Jessica Tocrazy is in a relationship with Marcus Hewishtheywere"...then they're not really dating! If they don't have any facebook pictures together or comment on one anothers pictures or pages then they aren't dating...it's impossible that they could be.

That is just S-A-D!

Haha, it's facebook; half of the people on there are not real, half of the information they put on there are made up and who cares what facebook says? FB is more untrustworthy than we think. So don't catch any feelings if someone does not accept your friend request or if they delete you from their page! It's just the internet.

You Are Beautiful - Just The Way You Are♥

Too much boobs, too much butt, too much blush and not enough BEAUTY!
I really can't stand to see women doing so much to themselves to feel more beautiful. Do you really need butt implants? Why? So that men can lust and totally surpass your inner-beauty? OR could it be that you're not pleased with the way that God made you so you took it upon yourself to rearrange some things? Okay, Gotcha!

Well I've got news for you lovely, it's not cute nor classy. And, it actually shows all of your insecurities. Yes, it does. You don't need all of that; God made you just the way he wanted you. “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart" Jeremiah 1:5 - See, I've got proof :).

Love yourselves - you are perfect just the way you are; you should show off the master piece God created.
When you love yourself - You Are Beautiful;
When you let your real self shine - You Are Beatiful;
When you love how God made you - You Are Beautiful. ♥
