Should A Woman Propose to A Man?

A lot of people think that since times are changing, it should be fine for a woman to propose to a man. I disagree, but right now I'm listening to a university's internet radio station and a lot of WOMEN actually believe that nothing is wrong with this. Some people think that a woman is desperate if she proposes to a man. I mean, I don't think that a woman should be the one to propose BUT I won't say that she is deperate. Sometimes love doesn't care who proposes :/.

Anyway I have mixed feelings about it -- (Oh, and NO WAY am I going to propose to any guy! :p)
If anyone care to share their views on this feel free! ^_^
She proposed to him and he said yes :)

    I completly agree with you Samone! I don't think a woman is desperate if she proposes, I think she just knows what she wants and doesn't want to wait around for him to do it! She is a go-getter which I totally respect thats awesome! I'm a go getter too just not in this subject. I'm old fashioned in some ways and this is one of them! I just think its the guys job to pursue the girl and he should do all the work, I already have enough things on my plate to do already, I am not adding more especially this haah!
    But I love how you opened up a question for people to answer on your blog and so it was super easy to comment, like I felt like I had too haha and it was on an interesting and fun topic! I'm gonna try this on my blog soon!

    Ahhh double standards...Whether its proposing, asking someone to prom, or a just date society tells us its the guy who has to ask. Is this fair? no. Is it the norm? yes. I feel bad saying this but I could never propose...I don't know if I'm just "traditional" or caving in to society but thats how I feel. At the same time it seems kinda dumb though...why is it up to the guy to determine when it's time to get married?!?! Good question. Tough question. (:

    lol lol wow! you ladies are tooo much.....lol well i don't see anything wrong with a lady proposing to her guy. If she feels like he's taking too long then hey, WHY NOT!? lol i mean i'm not gonna be the guy to let my lady beat ME to the deal, but i'm just saying i don't see anything wrong with a lady 'STEPPING TO THE PLATE'.... lol it actually shows that she really wants to be with her guy thats all....i'm not gonna lie though 'I'VE' planned to propose to my lady, AND VERY SOON! (heeheeheehee) lol so guys if you're taking too long with it, don't be surprised if you come home or go out on a date one day and see your lady starting to bend on her knee.....lol i can asure you of this, SHE'S NOT GONNA ASK YOU TO PRAY WITH HER! :)

    hello to mr. Anonymous1...i agree with you at a certain point, but where i disagree with u is where u said that you don't see anything wrong with a lady proposing to her guy. I wouldn't want MY lady to propose to me because I'll feel less than a man bro. Com'on. If your lady has to propose to you then it simply shows that you're not ready to be in a COMMITED relationship with her as yet, and she is. I do know one thing though, I'M GONNA PROPOSE to my lady.
